How to Upload

This feature is available for all plans.

This article will show you how to upload files to our editor. In the first part, we will show you how to upload video/audio files into a brand new project, and in the second, we will show you how to upload files into a project that you have already edited.

Please note that you can only upload 1 file at a time. You cannot upload more than 1 file at a time through any of our upload options.

How to upload into a new project

First of all, log into your Veed account. Once you are logged in, you will see this page:

Click on the "Create Project" button on the top middle part of the page. This will create a new, empty project in your account. It will look like this:

This is the upload window for a new project.

There are 5 ways to upload your video or audio files.
Upload a File: Drag and drop the file into the box at the top of the window. You can drag and drop video or audio files here.
Record: This will open up our inbuilt screen recorder: How to screen record a specific window or entire screen online
Brand Kit: Start your project by importing video or audio files from your Brand Kit.
Dropbox: Connect your Dropbox account to your Veed account to import files straight from your Dropbox account. Once clicked, you will be prompted to log into your Dropbox account. After logging in, head back to the project tab in your browser, and you will be able to select your file there.
Use Template: Use one of our many pre-made templates as a starting point for your new project.

After selecting the file, it will start uploading the file into the editor(if you choose an option where upload is necessary). Once it is fully uploaded, you will be able to edit it.

How to upload into an existing project

The fastest way to upload additional video, audio, or image files into an already existing project is by dragging and dropping the file onto the project.
There is an "Add video" button just above the timeline on the left side, or a button with a "+" in it that is after the last video file on the timeline that will allow you to upload additional video files from your device.

Click on the "Media" button on the left-hand toolbar in the project. This will open up the "Media" tab, where you will see 5 options:

Upload a File: Clicking on this will open up a window where you can select a file you want to upload. You can also drag and drop a file here.
Record: Clicking on this will allow you to record a video that you want to upload.
Brand Kit: Clicking on this will allow you to add video, audio, or image files from your Brand Kit(This option is only available for users with the PRO plan).
Dropbox: Clicking on the Dropbox logo will allow you to import files directly from your Dropbox account. If you have not connected your account yet, it will first ask you to log in to your Dropbox account.
